Common Cold and CH
Oct 24th, 2009 at 12:57pm

Hi all,

I did a quick search and didn't see anything about this. Sorry if it's been covered.

For the past 3 days I have had a terrible cold, which is rare for me. Anyway, I've noticed that I have had no CH's and no shadows during this cold. I feel like hell but CH's would have really made it a nightmare for sure.

So, is this pretty typical? Do you also notice a break from CH when you have a cold? And should I be scared for what's coming after I lose this cold?

Thanks gang! PF Wishes to all!

Like everything else with this crazy condition, nothing is the same for everyone.  I've heard it go both ways.

I'm like you.  The beast doesn't like sharing and seems to disapear when another illness moves in for a bit.  This seems to work that way for colds and flu.

Hmmm, that's very interesting Dennis, thanks. I'm sure glad I'm like this. I can't imagine adding the beast to this awful cold!
So, what about when this cold is over? Does the beast return as usual? stronger than usual? longer than usual? or does this cold break the cycle all together? What's been your experience?

Unfortunately, for me anyway, he does come right back.  No worse or better than before.  Just back. Roll Eyes

I have also noticed that during a cold or flu, the ch does not raise its fangs..
