Thanks Jeannie!

I do remember when I did smoke, like others said, it was a victory smoke after making it through a round with the beast.

Hey Racer, why is that cat beatin' up that chicken?

Actually the chicken is charging the cat....hard to see in avatar size. I thought it funny that cat appeared to be scared of the chicken.

Here is it in full size.....

I don't recommend smoking as a treatment, of course, but during attacks, I walk back and forth, smoke and, if there are no foreigners around, swear like a madman. This is the only thing that helps me maintain some level of sanity until it's over.

Seriously guys, my cheeks hurt from laughin so hard. What a group of people on here! Who needs pot? Just come here if you wanna giggle like a school girl. Seriously though, I have been puffin the ganja for 13 years now. Not much of a drinker, so it's just my thing. The only reason I so freely admit my love for it is to say it is my WORST enemy during a cycle.  Further, for the first time as of this cycle, I can't even be in the same room when it's lit up. I also smoke cigarettes though. No effect good or bad on that end.  I'll be back for you when I can my friend. Until then, stay the hell away from me and my o2.

I don't know how anybody could smoke at all during cycle.  When I smoked cigs some 5 years ago, it was gauranteed that after that cig, a cluster was following.
I got smart and quit and as I have said a million times on other threads, the intensity, duration, frequency and cycle time as a whole was reduced.  When I smoked it was awful.  I'm not sure how anybody could smoke during a hit.  Makes me wonder, Mmmm....

I'm with Chad.  2nd hand smoke will trigger me.  I can't be around it at all.

Try reducing your smoking while in cycle.  Maybe you'll get some relief.

As Brew said, that's awful funny.

Where pot has vasodilatory properties, nicotine is a vasoconstrictor.

If pot is vasodilatory like the verapamil that I'm currently using very effectively, then I can see it possibly helping. Altough I agree smoking is out of the question, but pot is much more effective if you eat it as apposed to smoking anyway.

Has anyone tried pot brownies as a solution? If not I'll volunteer for the experiment.  Cheesy

That's the big problem with all the vasolidation / vasoconstriction talk.
Nobody so far has proved that the vasoconstriction / vasolidation effects of meds / triggers / ... are really the cause.
There are even papers out there that suggest that the whole vaso thing has nothing to do with CH (some of them available at Dr. Sewell's blog).
