Weaning off Topamax
Feb 8th, 2010 at 12:00am

Has anyone experienced night sweats (drenching)  Undecidedand muscle twitches when weaning off Topamax?  The twitching is like when I am in that really comfortable state right before falling asleep.  I will have random muscles that jump/jerk/twitch every couple of minutes.  I am assuming it's related to going off the med but just wanted to see if there were any similar experiences.  I have been off for about a week now completely, weaned off by neurologist the correct way.  I've noticed it before when forgetting to take the med, but the muscle twitching seems strange to me.

it suppresses sweating so it makes sense that you would sweat when weaning off of it. sorry.
