oxygen in Portland
Feb 12th, 2010 at 1:14pm

Good day all:

Anyone in Portland have a contact with an oxygen supplier?

I'm trying to arrange oxygen for the ClusterBuster conference in August and so far no one is returning my phone calls and emails.

Thanks
Doug

Is Apria in Oregon? We find their service here to be exceptional.

Ok, so, spoke with Beth in  Customer Service at Apria, she says she cannot supply people who do not generally go through Apria....but I have to wonder........how has Linda managed to arrange for Linde to supply the 02 for conventions?
Doug, you can call Beth direct at 503-258-2219, and see what arrangements can be made, meanwhile, I will search more suppliers for you.
Anyone use Air Liquide?

Cathi, I was able to supply 02 at the conventions because at the time I had a script on-file at Linde.  I just made some calls from my Linde supplier in Calif. to the Linde supplier in Nashville, Dallas or where ever the convention was that year, paid for it in advance  and arrainged for the local Linde to deliver it to the hotel and pick up the empties afterward.

Anyone with a script on file with Apria can do the same thing.  Brian came to mind because he lives there, but you may know others CH-ers in the Portland area.

I believe Brian has a new lady friend, so that may be why he's been MIA for a while now.

Just a guess however... Smiley

WEll, I NEED Brian to interrupt his dalliance long enough to help me with this!

Cannot locate Linde in Oregon, Apria is the largest supplier, and they are close to the Airport.

LOL, ya big sillies!!

I'll get it.  How much do we need?  I've probably got enough in my garage.  Consider it a done deal.  We need regulators, though.

Thanks everyone.

Working on Apria now.  Left another message, but it was late in the day calling on Friday.  I'm sure we'll have it set by Monday.
