Thanks for the fish and everything...

Sorry, Hitchhiker. Just borrowing a phrase. Anyway, I didn't know where to post this so I'll post it here. I do want to thank all ya'll, esepecially Redhawk, Brew, Bob, Dj and Batch. And everyone kind enough to post and reply on this forum. That's it for the amenities.

I saw Dr Paul Rizzoli yesterday. He is the Director of the John R. Graham Headache Clinic in Boston, and very knowledgable about Clusters. He accepted everything I had to say, anticipated most of what I wanted to ask, and answered everything else with a professional and direct manner. Others here have seen him, as well. I would definitely recommend him for the next phase, once you have exhausted your own neuro's knowledge and patience, or even before you reach that point.

And just for the record: he switched me from nortriptyline to amytriptyline (sp?), liked but wanted to monitor my increases in Verapamil; and began ordering a nerve block for me at my local pain clinic. He also answered directly and without judgment questions I had on RC seeds, and agreed to look into Dr Halpern's study. That's it for now, I'm gone! wimsey1

Gone?  Where are you going?  Stick around to help support others the way you have been helped.

Hope you find the relief you are seeking and don't be a stranger.  Hang around a while.

Sorry...should have said, Gone for now! I'm a true firefighter, like many of all ya'll. I'll be here to add whatever value I can to assist in attacking the blazing beastie!  Wimsey1

That's good news on both fronts. Just getting a doctor to listen to you with an open mind is such a treat! Good name to keep in mind for all CH'ers in that area.

"Somebody had to say it" is usually a piss poor excuse to be mean.
