Notes from the new home
Jun 14th, 2010 at 11:55am

Hi family,

I'm finally living at my new home and I love it. Smiley

Aguess I can say that it's a proper home of a clusterhead, because after just a week, I've already aborted a hit and shadows and keep 4 cans of energy drinks at the fridge.

What can I say? Me and my boyfriend live now in a beautiful building, located at a beautiful area. I can see trees from each window and I love that! I've wanted to live in this building for a long time and now that dream is my reality. It's amazing! Smiley

We have a great kitchen, lovely living room,a bed room, a balcony, a bath room and nice hallway. At this point, the bed room is under construction, because we're getting rid of the wall paper, but otherwise all we needed to do was to paint a few walls and then carry our things in.

It's funny, but friends and relatives are already asking about the house warming party! We tell them to wait a bit, after all, we haven't even unpacked all the boxes yet! Grin But it's been so much fun finding a place for everything.

I'm so proud of this place that I cannot wait to show it to everyone! My best friend, our mothers and Esa's brother have already been here and seen it. They all love it. That's good, because after scrubbing every wall, cabinet and all the floors, I know every inch of it and feel very protective of my home. People better behave in here or they will have one red-haired clusterhead to deal with! Wink

When everything is ready, I will take few pics and post a link.

Lots of PF days to all,

Sanna

P.S. My favourite part of the move: internet begun to work before the walls were painted and our stuff was moved in... Wink

Thank you, guys. Smiley

George, my head didn't like the paint fumes that much... otherwise, nothing that a can of red bull couldn't heal.

I must say that we moved at the nick of time, because they're building a new house near my former home and that work includes explosions- they need to get rid of rocks. All of that is so noisy that it's impossible to work there! In fact, thinking was impossible...

With some potted flowers and your homemade pastries, it could sound like a summer of wine and roses there.      Smiley

Better and better, Sanna!

Sorry, Charlie. I'm sure your home is lovely, but I'm keeping mine. Smiley

I understood last night, that I love this place, because I'm on the same time on holiday and at home. You see, I love the trees which surround me at our summer cottage and I get the very same feeling right here. That is comforting, relazing and simply amazing. I've always wanted to make my home my haven and with this place, I believe I've got it. Smiley

Esa and I are still in the middle of decorating process; he likes Asian feeling, I love my ocean theme things... so let's just see what the outcome will be! But the living room and balcony do look lovely for the time being and they are a combination of both.

It's important that our home reflects us both, and so far so good.

Sanna
