Not necassarily.....I go 2 weeks attack free before I start weaning off of my prevents. I'd still avoid any known triggers....holding my breath that maybe the beast is done with you this go round.

does anyone tend to turn more migrainal at the end of their cycles? common headaches in the front and temple area... not sound or photo sensitive but more tension headaches? they are like constant shadows.

They are 100% not cluster headaches cause i tried 20 minutes of highflow O2 and its not even killing them anymore.  I just wanted to test if i could get rid  of them.....  do you think im at the point where its going away? I'm going on a business travel come monday.. I'd like to have this under full contol! I am however going prepared!

I got 5 packs of injections, 3 boxes of nasal zomig (6 doses per box), IM ARMED AND READY! i should be able to get through US customs with these since they are all perscribed right? lol i look like a drug machine!

I would not only have the prescription label on the boxes (your pharmacy can print duplicates), I would also have a copy of the written prescription from my doc with me at all times. Just to be safe.

Sounds similar to where I am.  My cycle sort of "ended" maybe a week ago.  Usually headaches just stop, but this time I've been getting weird headaches every couple days.  Last night I was woken up with a reasonably intense headache from temple to temple - not a CH... more like a migraine or dehydration headache.  I thought 800mg ibuprofen could take care of it, but within 20 minutes I could tell that a CH was coming on (it's funny to be such a connoisseur of headaches that you can identify different forms simultaneously) so I used an imitrex inhaler (I'm on the road and only have 2 left - so I'm hoarding).  That took care of it in 20 minutes.

I searched previous posts and couldn't find many references to this type of headache, but does it sound at all similar to what you're experiencing and does this sound common to anyone else?

On a side note, several days after I started taking calcium citrate, my cycle sort-of-ended.  I haven't taken it in a few days and then I get this headache.  Just bought some and I'm going to keep taking this for the foreseeable future.

As I leave a cycle (like I hope is whats going on now) I get a nagging ache throughout my whole head(??) and it will last for hours or a day at a time. Tylenol every 4 hours does the job. Not one sided so I know its not a CH, is it a shadow?? Like I said its my whole head and more on the oppisite side my CH's were????
