Suspected US Drone Attack Kills 9 Insurgents In Pakistan


Up to nine militants, including four foreigners who hailed from Turkmenistan and members of the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan (IMU), are known to have been killed in the latest attack by suspected U.S. drone aircraft in Pakistan's restive northwestern region, bordering Afghanistan, it is learnt.

Six missiles were reportedly fired by the drones which first hit the rebel household there killing five persons, including the foreigners.

The second missile strike occurred barely minutes later hitting a car parked outside the rebel household, killing three more militants.
