A old timmer just droping in to say Hi!
Nov 23rd, 2010 at 2:35pm

I don't know all you new comers here I am sorry to say, but you found a real good home here, its one you will never forget.
To my old friends here sorry I am not around much, life just takes us in so many directions, some times it changes our Rout some. That is what has happen to me.

I saw this  card today and it made me think of you guys written by William Rebecca Jennifer

So to all the people I have met here and share wonderful moments with this is for you.

My Thanksgiving and Christmas List of Blessings is more than just a way to keep track of the special people God has brought into my Life to love.
It’s like a treasured scrapbook filled with pleasant memories of all the times God’s  Answered  prayers through friends and family.
Every name is a touchstone that leads to a place and time.Where God has used another’s heart to reach out and touch mine.
It may have been year’s ago or even yesterday.
But every person on my list has changed my life some way, through simple conversation, a warm hug or a shared meal.
Every person on my list has helped me grow or heal, or laughter or love or learn or smile the blessings never end, As God allows our paths to cross as family and friend.
So please know this is more than a Thanksgiving or Christmas wish.
It’s a Thank You to God for putting you on my list.

May God Bless

Elaine

Lady E was the second to reach out to me, but I think it was a race to answer my first post.

Happy Elaine is truly you, but I think Lady E still fits better. Smiley  Love ya! and I'll never forget what you did to help calm the fears of this newbie who had reached the end of the rope and there wan't enough left to tie a knot.  Had it not been for you and a couple of others I would probably not be writing this post tonight.  I was that close, but you helped me find myself again and learn to deal with this thing.  You, along with DJ, will definitely be on my thanks list this Thanksgiving.  Give Buddy and JD a hug for me.

E!

Saw your post this morning and did not have enough time to respond in a proper manner.

It is good to see you again.  I occasionally thought of your post throughout the day and thought back to the folks that were regulars when I jumped in the boat.

I thought of you, and many others, and how you specifically reached out when we needed you. As I'm typing this I try to recall who were the collection of folks that exchanged thoughts and blessings, again, when I jumped in to the boat.

Most are no longer posting on a regular basis.  But I do drop in daily, (almost), and I do see some of those from that time and recall their personality and views.

The new folks represent properly and I guess it's their turn to carry on.  Their support is as robust as I can remember but perhaps a little less edgy. I can't add, at all, to their responses and that is a direct result of this site and how it leads the way for all that this thing touches.

To close this circle, it certainly is good to hear from you.  I hope all is well.

Yes...when I came on, Elaine was one of the first to reach out to me. I told her to keep her hands to herself.  Tongue

Not true......Elaine is my girl. Always has been and always will be. Smiley

Jerry...that was beautiful!

Joe...that summed it up perfectly...I was tearing up and hoping no-one came into my office and wondered...what's wrong now? Well...NOTHING...these are tears of joy...

Elaine....been missing you girl. I visit this site hoping for sharing, enlightenment, love, and understanding....you supply 'em all...

...and sometimes I just NEED a laugh (laughter IS the best medicine)...your stories are hilarious...there's many a time they got me through a real dark patch...you have a gift dear...my BEST to you and yours...
