lol Carol. For those of you who don't have Face=book. DJ and 30 of his friends have an arsenal of firecrackers to rival anything New York will set off.

I'm certain to hear them here in Kentucky.

When my oldest son was 18 he took all the chemicals he'd gotten from a student science center in his senior year of high school. We lived in a cul-de-sac and he poured all the stuff in a pile, put in a long fuse and lit it. He didn't realize the fuse was crimped and it went off in his face.

Several plastic surgeries later by the same surgeon who treated Richard Pryor (after he almost killed hi mself free-basing) , he was fine but because of this I hate the 4th. Not because of what it stands for but because there is always someone who is going to be hurt, some irreperably.

I am still in awe of the amount of ordinance that DJ and his cohorts managed to procure, let alone set off! I'm fairly certain the sound reached decibel levels requiring hearing protection far beyond anything that would be required even at the loudest heavy metal concert, while standing directly in front of/beside the speaker system, and may well have approached the sound barrier itself (based on the video he posted)!

But for those of us who couldn't go to or use fireworks, it was an AWESOME show
