Out of cycle prevents.
May 7th, 2012 at 8:54pm

Hello,

Just wondering. How many people OUT of cycle use preventive meds?  How many DONT use preventive meds out of cycle?

I'm not talking about melatonin, But i guess you can count batch's D3 as a preventive. Just not a med prevent in that case.

Thanks, Coach Bill

I am on Neurontin  all the time but then again I haven't been out of cycle on it yet. I do not clusterbuster. I already suffer from mental illness would not be prudent at this juncture in my life.

Some years ago this was a recurring discusion but seems to have disappeared, of late.

Probably most likely/effectively used for folks with rather short cycles so that a cycle ends before the prevent, e.g,, Verap., has had time to kick in.

I do the Batch Regimen full time but stop my regular prevent, lithium, when the cycle dies.

I don't give the m*th*rf**k*r clusters one second of a thought when I am not in cycle. I refuse to give them one second more than they forcefully demand from me, so I guess that means putting me down for "does not do any prevents out of cycle".

Just like Joe, but for me it's verapamil instead of lithium.

Oh, for full disclouser I plan to run the Batch D3 program even when my cycle ends, if for nothing else the extra health benefits from it.

I have been staying on the verapamipil and topamax all the time. Seems like if I don't the headaches come back so I guess I am chronic.

I get shadows on Verapamil, so as soon as they die off, I wean myself off it. Then, nothing until they hit again.

Same thinking as superhawk really!
