It seems to vary between people and between cycles. Some have them fade away in intensity or frequency, others have them go out with one big one.

There is the infamous "beer test" which is where people try a beer to see if their cycle is over. They of course hope to enjoy the beer without the alcohol induced CH.

Hopefully your attacks are ending, mine end slowly. When the episodes begin they start slowly too. One a night, then few days later 4-6 a day. It's been 5 full days since any form of head pain. My cycle ended slowly over period of about 1 week. I was just getting one at night, then poof they were gone. 8 weeks total, this was the longest episode ever for me in 15 years.
Keep pushing, I changed a lot so I don't know what ended them for me. I do drink 60oz of water a day now. Not sure I'm ready for the beer test though! I'm not sure I believe alcohol is a trigger but I know it is dehydrating. So for me I'm just going to avoid it all together!
Best of luck to you.

I can speak only for myself but I'm one who goes out with bang, and a whimper.

Every cycle i've had starts slow and builds in intensity until it hits a peak. they then fade away but I usually get a couple've major hits as my cycle ends.

I push my fingers into my eyes, It's the only thing that slowly stops the ache, But it's made of all the things I have to take, Jesus it never ends it just works its way inside, If the pain goes on, I AM gonna make it.... Definitely varies from person to person. I start slow and mild, build to peak cycle where I'm getting creamed, then they fade away the same way until I realize it's been over a week since my last shadow.

"Somebody had to say it" is usually a piss poor excuse to be mean.
