Need some HELP please!!!
Sep 26th, 2012 at 10:59am

Strange thing happened today.  Someone stole Adams E tank with regulator and mask attached.  I have been on the phone and online for 2 hours searching for these items.  No one has a 25 LPM regulator.  The mask is an easier fix I can get that from the store here.  If anyone has any suggestions on the regulator, please call me.  My number is 803-606-1549.

Thanks, I'm lost.

Hi Louise, there is hope! Wink

Here is what I recommend...IF you originally got his o2 medically prescribed, call your medical provider and have them re-order it, including a regulator if they provided that also.

If you can not wait and/or looking for other ideas, here is what I do....get a large tank of welders o2, it is just as good as medical o2 and you can get it today without a prescription.

Go to a local welders supply store and do NOT tell them you are using it for medical/breathing purposes.  If they ask, tell them a friend of yours told you to get a tank of o2 as he is teaching you to weld this Fall/Winter.  You will need no other product from the welders store as there regulators are often very expensive compared to Harbor Freight Tools.  It is more cost effective to purchase a tank on the spot, but you could rent one with a credit check and possible time delay.

Then go to Harbor Freight Tools, there are locations everywhere nationwide and in your hometown of Columbia, SC also.  They sell welders regulators for less than $30 bucks.  These regulators will exceed 25 lpm, so he will have the ability to hyperventilate and abort attacks quickly.

And the mask from the ch.com store (yellow tab on left side of your screen) is the best available.  I believe you can have this shipped within 24 hours to your door.

If you want a high quality regulator, go to Flotec and custom order one.  Ask for Ashley.  She is familiar with what type Adam will need, just make sure to specify what type of tank you have.

Thanks for your reply.  It may be handled.  But if not I will try your suggestion.  Also, thanks for the compliment on the baby afghan.  Just wish we had been there.

Glad things are being sorted out but amazed how anyone could steal something like this. What on earth are some people thinking?

I have no idea!  Apparently alum recycle, is all we can come up with.

Thanks to everyone, an angel from our crew is taking care of the reg and mask.

We are so blessed to have the CH family in our lives.

Hugs to all,
Louise
