Last Thanksgiving CH's
Sep 23rd, 2013 at 7:00pm

I have been off & on here all day learning a lot about this site and the people on it. Just amazing! I feel bad for the people who seem to have it worse than me and sincerely hope there has been some improvement!

I was thinking about my last big CH outbreak and it was peaking last thanksgiving. Woke up around midnight with a 10 that lasted about a hour, eased off and came back at 2am bigger then ever 10+. This was all after a big dinner with the crazy relatives. At about 4am it was easing off to a 3 or 4 that felt like heaven. I was feeling so relieved that is was going back in to the shadows and wide awake, I went to the black Friday early morning sales and got some good deals. I knew I was going to be worthless the next day anyway.

So I was just thinking what this years thanksgiving is going to be like. Just wanted to share it with you all because you guys know.

Funny but Thanksgiving kicked off the last 2 cycles I had! Even after 3 pain free years we still joke about how we worry about the holiday. Cheesy

Well, This Thanksgiving came and went without a CH. In the early fall the beast tried to take over my life again but, I went to the doctor asap and got the prednisone and that stopped it! Cheesy

On a side note: I stopped smoking over a month ago and so far so good. I have noticed that my sleep patterns are all screwed up! Having problems going to sleep and staying asleep. Wondering if this is contributing to the CH absence
or not? I know this forum has mixed reviews on smoking vs CH. I will keep you posted.

Thanks again for every ones support especially Guiseppi's

Cause and affect...always a pain in the arse to get a handle on. I know just as I've aged into my 50's, sleep is far more elusive to me now then in my younger days. And in cycle, sleep pattern disruptions were a major trigger for me! As far as the smoking, jury is definitely still out on how it affects CH, but no doubt you're body is happier without! Hoping the remission lasts a lifetime.
