02?Er?

Hi!!! Just wanted to ask about how to proceed with something. Getting 02. I usually have my 02 tank next to my bed (am in cycle). Last  night I acompanied my grandmother at the hospital. She is there so  stayed over to sleep for various reasons. Went to the ER beforehand and talked to one of the attending explaining my whole CH issue (9 pm) And asked them of for any reason I would have a hit at night if they could please give me o2 if I went down, they loked at me as if I was insane hahah..well..woke up with a hit at 2 am ,went to the er and they had to go through the hole routine...told them to just pleeeeeease give me 02 and I would be fine. They would not even consider giving me more than 5lpm, explained (in tears) that I needed minium 15lpm...they would not do it. Wanted to give me paracetamol...needless to say, had to wait it out 3 hours..kip 8..I wonder if there is anyway that us, Epc..or Cch..could somehow get a letter, anything to have in these cases? I know

It might help to carry a hand-written copy of your doctor's prescription with you at all times - for just such occasions. Make sure the medical personnel have your doctor's phone number so they can verify the prescription with him or her.

Will do that. The thing is that I have 2 neuros here where I live...both do not believe 02 helps and have refused to prescribe it. I have my own tank ...got it from my grandmother and it is my life saver. Neuros that I have seen here have even tried to prescribe codeine for the hits........... needless to say they are not open to easy solutions such as : 02....in their theory,it would make the CH worse.  Happy I have a tank...and happy that I finally got some Zomig inhalable spray (sumatriptan with naproxene) was giving me horrible tachycardia. And the zomig worked like a charm last night..went from kip 9 to 0 in less than 25 min..with 02 included
