Clusterhead from the Netherlands joins this board

Hi there, I'm Michael from the Netherlands and I'm 54 years.

I'm suffering from the Beast for 10 years. I have periodic CH, actually I have just finished a cycle at the moment after 1 1/2 years of remission. The attacks have been scattered around the years, sometimes around solstice and sometimes in other months. A typical clusterperiod lasts for around 8 weeks.
It's difficult to recall the times I had cluster cycles, I tend (or wish) to forget all those painfull periods in those years. Until now I haven't used medication, something my neurologist is surprised about. The explanation I have for that is that I know a clusterheadache will pass after 1 or 2 hours normally. Even if it is a 8 or 9 at the KIP scale. I couldn't do that with say toothache, because then you never know when it is ending.

After looking around on the web I found the Clusterbuster site, which made me curious about magic mushrooms. As I live in the Netherlands I can buy truffles easily at smartshops or via the web. So I decided to give 'm a try.

Three weeks ago I first took about 8 grams of Psilocybe tampanensis. I didn't get any trip effects, but got a little bit stoned, different from smoking weed though, not as pleasant...This dose gave me an immediate result, my head felt better and my body was more at ease. Three days painfree. Unfortunately the headache hit me real hard four days later. I had 4 heavy attacks at night and early morning, where I normally have one max two around 1.00 am at night.

A week after the first dose I took the same amount of mushrooms and was painfree again for 3 days when I was hit hard again, 5 heavy attacks in a night and morning. After that I had 2 painfree days .
It looked like the 'normal' pattern has been broken into something irregular.
Then after a week I took another dose of 10 grams MM. Had some very mild trip effect, felt good after that and had a good night of sleep. But stupid me, I thought on Tuesday night that I should try out a nice alcoholic drink. Two hours after that the HA came to pay me a visit again. It was a short mild attack (Kip5) of a half hour, so I think the shrooms worked, normally the attacks are much more fierce and come faster as well. Unfortunately after that I had to endure headaches for almost 12 hours (Kip3). But after that no more headaches anymore

I waited another 5 days and took my last dose and it looks like that did the trick. My head feels clear and no more wakening up at night. Normally the cycle should last at least 3 to 4 weeks more...

That was my little CH history. Wish all of you some good painfree time!

Welcome to the board, Michael. It's always great to hear a success story. Be sure to let Cluster Buster Bob Wold know about this.
