Alcohol

Hi,

Alcohol is a major trigger for me. But I hate having to avoid it for the total duration of a cycle, kinda ruins your social life.

Does anyone have a particular alcoholic drink that they can drink without triggering an attack? I know beer, wine and vodka definitely do with me, but thought maybe if I tried something else I would get away with it. He'll of a risk I know because we all know the severity of the pain.

Anything with alcohol is a trigger for me.  I can't even do a shot of NyQuil.  Sad

Same here. In a social setting where alcohol is being served, I'll order a ginger ale or cola.

A good friend of ch.com could drink dark beer in cycle but not bright beers, and red wines but not white. What a weird monster we deal with.

One study out of Europe said that white wine was safe but not red.

I'm one of the lucky ones for whom alcohol doesn't trigger a CH. But if it did I'd just skip it until a cycle was over as there is no way I'd want a CH just to have a drink.
