It's been nine years since my last cluster attack. Yesterday my wife and I were unpacking boxes in the new house. She pulled out my O2 rig, regulator, mask, etc., and asked if I still wanted it. I quickly grabbed it from her hands and held it close saying that I wanted to keep it, just in case. I guess it will go to the grave with me as well as the fear that It may return someday.

Personally, I think having my O2 stuff around keeps me a little more mindful of how wonderful a day is without CH. It's not like I pay attention to it every day, but it's kind of like having an old friend around. And congrats on the new home!

Haven't needed it in almost a year, but.. I don't think any of us will ever get over the "fear" ... it's just a part of us. Congrats and enjoy the new home..

But I've still got two regulators, several masks and I can get the oxygen quickly if needed. I don't think I'll ever want to get rid of my O2 kit, just in case... Congrats on the new home too.

Geeez, 9 years already. Seems like yesterday you were reporting the every other year pattern........

No "real" hits in many months for me, but I certainly do know the "fear" part quite well.

Hey, a really good part of your post is the unpacking in the new house. THAT's been a long time coming, my friend!

What's the Grandkid count up to? Last I heard was 3.

Bob, at one of our conventions where Dr. Peter Goadsby spoke, He was asked by Jimmy Hendrix if he could consider himself done with CH. (it had been more than 12 years since he'd been hit) Goadsby said NO!!! So, do NOT get ride of anything. Put it in the garage or a seldom used closet.

BTW...Jim and I just bought a house in Santa Maria. Wink

We just married off the youngest (24 yrs old) of my five daughters a few months ago, he's Army and just got posted to Ft. Polk, LA. The circle of life continues......
