conventions?
Jan 29th, 2017 at 4:20am

as I stated, I have been MIA for 3 years or so . so I don't know if I've missed it somewhere. Are the yearly conventions still happening? I never had the chance to attend but always looked forward to the stories and info upon everyone's returns.

Unfortunately member participation has really diminished these past few years here on CH.com, as many have focused over on the clusterbusters site. OUCH organization ceased too. Annual conventions relating to CH's primarily led by the clusterbusters group.

I attended a few years ago when the annual convention was held in Las Vegas at The Rio Hotel/Casino. If you've never been to one of these Cluster Headache conventions, it is something you should consider doing.

Remember when you met your 1st fellow CH'er how you immediately felt a "connection"? At least that's what I felt when I met bob G here in Las Vegas.  Wink Well, multiply that wonderful feeling by 100 people and it is more uplifting than going to church among those who believe the same. Very spiritual, very comforting, very unique experience that only a CH sufferer would truly appreciate. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend meeting with other clusterheads if you can. It does a person good to meet others and share stories.
I can remember meeting Gregg and about 10 other ch'ers in Vegas. We met at the library and were told no talking inside so we sat outside on the steps. I've met groups from San Diego to Boston, Las Vegas to Montreal. Some have even gone out of their way to stop by my house. All great people with great experiences and cluster tips.
I just read a post about a upcoming gathering in LA. Be there if you can.

Yes Bob G! Those 'Meet & Greets' we organized in Las Vegas were very comforting, informative and fun. We organized several of them back in the day on a monthly basis.

...and I further recommend anybody interested in meeting a very knowledgeable and personable gentleman to visit St. George Utah, even for a 1 hour 'Meet & Greet' at Denny's restaurant. Bob G knows his stuff  Wink
