No duty too pay, but Jess's friend, who's she's travelling with, parents sent her a parcel of clothes and she had to cough up 60pounds duty before they would deliver them Hoppy

However, when Brexit is completed it is likely that duty will apply to ALL goods purchased outside the U.K., thus making it less attractive to buy overseas. Peter.

I don't know how much the duty is, but customs duty for items from outside the EU, to UK, starts at £135 including the postage, and VAT kicks in at £15.

I've never spent £135, but I have spent more than £15 on several occasions, including the mask I bought from the CH store here, and didn't have to pay - maybe my items have slipped through the net, and I was lucky.

I have bought things from the US, Far East' Australia, all over and sometimes you get caught, sometimes you don't. They only do random sampling...same here in Ireland. Peter.
