Two Welding O2 Questions
May 15th, 2019 at 7:27am

Good morning all.  Due to how restrictive Georgia is, we might have to go the welder's O2 route for my wife's CH. I've searched the forum for about an hour and have gotten a lot of good info, so only have a few questions left if we go the welding O2 route.

(We already ordered the Cluster O2-Kit mask and its on the way)

- If we get an M-Size welder's tank, can we use a medical O2 regulator that shows LPM as long as it's cga-540?  Or will we have to go with a welder's regulator that only shows PSI and just "feel out" the right breathing rate?

- If the answer to the above is we have to use a non-medical regulator, how do I go about getting an adapter to make the mask connect with the regulator?  (Obviously this question is N/A if a medical cga-540 will fit on the welder's tank)

Thanks so much and sorry if it seems like I'm spamming the board with new topics here.  I'm just a desperate husband who's doing everything he can.  Undecided
