Curious to hear about your attacks. Are they anytime? Or only when you sleep (naps included)? Add whether you're female or male, ECH or CCH. Thanks in advance.

Mine were almost exclusively (>95%) nocturnal -- until a brilliant neurologist saw a link between sleep apnea and CH, and pretty much saved my life.  Since going on a CPAP machine in 2015 I have been completely free of CH.

I'd get one sometime during the day then guaranteed I'd get a doozy two hours after going to sleep.

Maryo,

CCH here. Mine are both nocturnal and diurnal.

Some 4:00a.m. and 4:00p.m. pattern, but can be anytime really.

Mainly heavy shadows these days, thanks to the D3 Regimen, but still ever present.

Best regards,

Peter.

Episodic cluster headaches. Spring and Fall, daytime like clockwork for me, and occasionally one would wake me around 2am.

It varies from year to year, but this fall it's one between 7:30 and 8:00 PM three to four days a week, and one that wakes me up with shocking precision close to 4:10 AM five to six days a week. This is unrelated to when I go to bed, and I experience it even if I happen to be awake at the time.
