I'm in the same boat Willie. Unfortunately, in the past 13 years, I've had to learn to deal with some of the pain too. The ones that happen in public are the worst. Trying to keep enough composure about yourself so that everyone doesn't think your a freak or something.

What's made my whole ordeal a little more frustrating as far as the doctors go is...I'm in the military. I bet I've seen over 100 different doctors in the last 10 years about my Cluster's.

It seems like every time I need to get an Imitrex prescription filled, or pick up a new bottle of O2, I have to tell my entire life story to a new doctor who has COMPLETELY no idea what I'm talking about! And I always seem to get the brand new doctor, right out of Officers Training.

I'm leaving for a 2 week "exercise" in a few days. I got with the doctor I have now to see about getting 2 weeks worth of Imitrex to take with me while I'm gone. He said he would give me 2 DAYS worth because he wants to make sure that the Imitrex isn't giving me "rebound" headaches!!!!! I freaked out on him! I told him that I'm the one that's been dealing with this for over 13 years, and I know damn good and well when a medication gives me a "rebound" headache. He said HE would be the one to make that decision!

I don't know what I'm gonna do. Spend my entire trip in the Emergency Room I guess??!!

Sorry, just needed to vent! Thanks for the post Willie!
