Surgery is a big deal especially when it involves your head!! I would definately be doing major research on that before doing it but that's just my opinion. I guess I'm one of those open minded supporters (not a wife but close enough, we live together for 3 years) and Cliff will totally try the shrooms before surgery,head surgery just seems so risky. If you have a way to try the hallucinagens then I think you should try them, it is a small dose and you may not even hallucinate (some people don't, just more vibrant sounds and colors) Just one girls opinion. A lot of people may say they are against it (your wife for example) but I doubt she is against you being pain free. If all else fails just don't tell her you're trying them! If it works GREAT then she reaps the benefits as well. I would let Cliff try ANYTHING to end the pain. But surgery...that is a tough call, like you said they don't know enough about this stuff yet and I know with Cliff's doctor they have tried so many different treatments and none of them have worked, it is very discouraging. We're trying the alternative route next, just takes awhile to get them :) . Good luck, do a lot of soul searching and praying and the answer WILL come to you. Do what's best for you man. Sometimes you have to put yourself first and do what you think is right and what your heart is telling you. Anyone else is just going to have to understand.
