Dad recently got a prescription for Imitrex, and I couldn't believe the price. He is paying about $17 per pill, and they are only 50 mg. Is there a generic equivelant? Is there a cheaper source for the drug? His headaches are getting much better, and this is a new drug to him, so it seems to help. But at $17 per pill, he usually waits til they are already pretty bad before he'll take one. Any info appreciated.
