Sorry to hear you hurting so bad.
I was on Cafergote for quite some time, back when it inc phenobarbital.
It did make it difficult for me to sleep at times.
Empty stomach may factor.
I have had sleep problems after attack many times, I think stress is the culprit.
The emotional release happens no matter what I take.
When I was on Lithium my wife had to monitor me closely because of the depresion that seemed to accompany.
I too have cried many a tear from these monsters. Most were not because of the pain.
I have spent days where the sobbing begins for reason, and continues uncontrollably.
I know no remedy.
Wish I had better news.
Hope you achieve permament remission yesterday.
