I, too, have morning after headaches. I, who also have migraines, decided to try IMitrex. I use Oxygen for the clusters and usually the acute cluster goes away in 15 minutes but then like others have said there is a left over pain that follows you through the day. So during this cycle I have been using Imitrex shots successfully to get that pain to stop. But have I gone through the Imitrex! I think the cycle is over but I am still hoarding my O2 and Imitrex just in case. I have had a strange cycle going 4 or 5 days without and then starting in again. These things do have a life of their own. And for those who say stress contributes, my mom died suddenly a week into my cycle and nothing changed at all! They just kept coming and going as always.
