Don, you are not alone! I am on week 5 of my cycle and have been on prednisone for that long and it looks right now like there is no end in sight. Tried to taper and had too many "breakthroughs" so I upped the prednisone again. I find the stuff makes me really emotional and teary. Nothing wrong with it though, cause I figure I have every right to cry...these things hurt like hell! I also have found this board to be tremendously helpful in getting feelings out and having someone there who truly understands the pain. Wishing you pain free days and nights!
