OK Guys,
Here's my "brilliant" idea for this week. Let's DO organize OUCH. We can apply for tax-exempt status as a non-profit organ.
This would give us some statue and more clout with the gov. We might even be eligible for some grants (I think this is more important than the mating habits of the tsetse fly.)
One of our goals could be to educate docs into the world of cluster headaches.
We've got doctors, lawyers and Indian chiefs on this board. Why not use our "talents" to help ourselves? Like my daddy always said, "The Good Lord only helps them what helps themselves."
If you guys think this is a good idea, we'll get started on the paperwork (yes, there is a bunch of that and it takes a while to get it through, but I can handle that part - with a little help from my friends).
Let me know what you think - ideas? suggestions? etc?
