I'm in....I've volunteered to start a Canadian chapter of O.U.C.H. and already have some feelers out to a local doc to see if he can point me in the right direction with the medical/neuro community here in Calgary.
I am going to start by printing out some of the research from this site and make a booklet to present to any doc or funding agency who will listen. Hell, who cares if they don't want to listen - I'll flood them till they do!
My boss is the Treasurer for the Finance Committee of our provincial government so he might be a good resource too for funding options.
It's time we took the bull by the horns here and did some homework.
Clara, Ray B. - I know you guys are up here, if you're listening, lets put our heads together and get busy.
Also, if there are any other supporters out there - it's time to pitch in and feel like we are actually helping! Our sufferers shouldn't be expected to do all this work, when we are the ones more able to stay focussed without being interrupted by the Beast.
