hi Bill,

like the indian chief who told the tribe one winter, "i have good news and bad news. the bad news is due to poor harvest, we have nothing to eat this winter but buffalo dung".

according to posts i've seen over the past months, it's true that some folks outgrow CH. the missing word in your doc's prediction was probably "some". there are plenty of folks who have found otherwise. there are some who say the later in life you start, the more likely you are to be chronic. there are those whose cycles became shorter as time went on, and some whose cycles got longer ... even to the point of chronic in some cases. there's just no standard.

i guess i've figured this "you'll grow out of it" thinking is part of the CH mythology, that also says we're all drunken, pizza-faced male nicotine addicts. it may be somewhat based on experience, though ... in times past lots of that mythology went unchallenged - leaving CHeads in a pretty hopeless state. maybe the only ones who survived back then were the ones who grew out of it.

here's to the day when we ALL grow out of it ... because we found out what causes it.

oh yea ... the chief's good news was, "we have PLENTY of buffalo dung."

pain freedom is a human right!!
