My intro to CH

I have recently been diagnosed with CH and I hope that you do not mind that I post this mail in your group. I can tell you that these weeks have been excruciating and depressing..but also very telling in that my CH has been misdiagnosed for years as 'mere' sinus headaches. Now I do the prednisone thing...80mg/day for 4 days, then taper. The O2 seems to work but never stops the bout completely. Six weeks now...sometimes with 4 to 6 CH/day. Fear is a big thing in this life with CH in that I keep wondering what possibly could be worse than a full blown CH attack. I will appreciate your responses to this post if only to let me know that I am not alone in this. I am a 12 month combat veteran of the Vietnam War...and I have seen and felt much pain...but nothing like CH. Thanks all for this group and I will try my best to provide some needed information and help when I can...Dan
