Amitrypilyne is often prescribed as a treatment for CH. Some have had success with it. It's actually an anti-depressant (Elavil) but makes you sleep like a rock. I tried it once and was so groggy the following morning I quit using it. Probably should have stayed with it for awhile and given it a chance.
