Dear Grandma,
Try to get her to explain where her head hurt`s during a headache. Ask her if it`s like a band around her head, in her temple`s,back behind her eye`s. Try to get her to show you where they start. Then ask her what it feel`s like. Sharp pain`s or someone squeezing around her head. Just kind of test her to see what she say`s.
My daughter is 8 and she think`s she`s good at fooling mom about headache`s. Most of the time she just need`s to eat a little something or she`s trying to get out of something she doesnt want to do.
In my experince if a child say`s they have a headache. If you give them something for it and they dont run off and play they choose to lay down for at least 20-30 minute`s then they really do have a headache.
Children have away of telling you about the pain. My daugter get`s ear infection`s. When she say`s the helacopder What I`m trying to say is, you try to ask her question`s on her own level. Maybe get a second or third opinion.
I would hate to see a misdiagnosie`s on such a we lil one.
Grandma this is what I would do if it was my own child. I hope to god your 10 year old granddaughter does not have CH. I`d just be sure first.
Good-Luck God be with you
Hug`s Linda
