Try to ramp up from 240 mg/d in stages, and space out the dosage to 2 times per day (for 240 do 120 twice per day). Go up to 300 or 360 /d for a day or two (or longer if they are gone) and then up to 420 or 480 mg/d.
I am usually at 360 mg/d usually, but occasionally I bump up to 420 when the shadows are around. Some rare times I go right to 480, but I do get the funny mouth.
Hang in there, at least the verapimil is showing signs of working, you just need to find the right dose.
