My left side is different from the right side also. It's always tender, even when I don't think about it. I can reach up and touch it and it will be sore. Weird!
People that know me can tell when I'm getting a HA before I do. My left eye starts swelling shut. By the time I notice it, it's a full blown CH.
And about the place in the top of my head -- I call it my little green monster. Just one place is sore all the time. Had some kind of test done and it printed out of the computer - red where the pain was and all that. But right in the middle of the top of my head was a small green spot. So see, I'm not crazy - told you it was a little green monster!
So I guess all this is not that unusual. We just never talked about it before. Hope everyone goes into remission soon.
