Bob P, I think, that you are the first that I've read that has mentioned swelling. (?) And that that side of your face NEVER feels right, mine even in remission time. Always lets me know that things are not normal on that side of my face.
My face on that side is always a little swollen and during the attack the swelling and pressure feels like all the bones on that side of my face are going to break apart! I feel my head get bigger and bigger as it builds. After the 2 hour attack then that side feels like someone used me as a punching bag and I stay some swollen for sometime.
And I agree on the neck thing too. My husband has said for 17yrs that it has something to do with my neck and shoulder on that side.
