If you can afford it, try the Imitrex injection. I have used it and, on an average, the headache is gone in 4 minutes. The stuff is amazing. I use the pill form for my migraines. Those take about 30 minutes to get rid of. If you do try the injection, beware of the "rush to the head" the first few times you take it. Scared me $#@&less!! But the third time was much better and got "easier" with each shot. I haven't taken one since mid-March. Went on Lithium and have been CH free ever since. Recently went off the lithium and am still CH free. LOVE THAT PAIN FREE FEELING!! Wish I could share it!
