Hope you all don't mind, but I just need to talk. My wife Patty, whose CH's started in April, was really starting to get better. We were going 5-6 hours between Demoral shots, and she was feeling no pain between them, except the last 15 minutes or so. Things were looking like remission was in sight, and we were happy little campers. She has some other problems, and our doctor needed to do a temporal biopsy, so they weaned her off the Prednisone. Since she hit zero on that, hell has started again. Her hands and feet are about twice their normal size due to swelling, and her whole body aches, especially the joints. Her skin is strecthed so tight, it looks like it is ready to split. With that, it must be putting pressure on the veins and arteries, cause the headaches are back to the force they were, and the Demoral shots are back to every 4 hours, with them lasting only about 2-2 1/2. Seems like the light at the end of the tunnel that we saw was just the light on the freight train that was headed straight towards us. Life really really sucks sometimes.
