I am a 23 year old female who has been suffering from cluster type headaches for over 10 years. The only problems with this diagnosis are that, 1. I am female, 2. They stay for three days non-stop and 3. They migrate from side to side. The latest from my doctor is I suffer from cluster headaches because of the ferocity of the attacks. My symptoms are intense pain on one side of my head (eye, nose and right back to my neck), swollen eyes, runny nose and eyes, eyes sometimes point in opposite direction (noticed by others, not myself) and basically I am bedridden for, at most, three days. Drugs don't work and doctors prescribe drugs. Can anyone tell me what these things are? Thanks. Taryn.
