Sorry to hear you are in such pain. You came to the right place because there is a world of knowledge and experience at this site. Being female won't give you a break when it comes to clusters. That's an old story from bad research. The part of your post about runny nose and pain behind the eye is very typical cluster. But you said swollen eyes, plural, that doesn't necessarily fit with clusters. Being bedridden for days is not a sign of clusters. Laying down is NOT what a clusterhead would do. My guess, and it's only a guess, is that maybe you are suffering from migrain and clusters at the same time. Is your doctor a neurologist? If not have your doc send you to one. A CAT scan and/or MRI is also needed to rule out other causes. Like I said before, there is a wealth of knowledge here. Print it, study it, become an expert on it and take it with you on your next visit to the doctor and the neurologist. Best of luck to you. Let us know what happens, your case sounds interesting.
