I started a 30 day Prednisone Taper and Oxygen July 1st. This helped last cycle. It didn't this time so I am on those two plus Verapamil @480 mg per day. The Pred. taper will be over in two weeks. Since starting the 480mg dosage of Ver., I have been headache free....three days now. I do feel a "shadow" but nothing developes...THANK GOD. How long did you continue medications after your headaches stopped? If you drink alcohol, how long did you wait after the headaches stopped to have you first drink? I was told I could stay on Verapamil 120-240 mg. indefinitely. My cycles run 4-6 weeks every other year.
