Simon, when I am getting my CH I don't go anywhere. I work, take 1-2 hours trips max (shopping, oil change) and try keep control during an attack. I have found that it actually helps trying to keep control cause you have focused your mind into not looking like an idiot in front of people. Of course, there are times that you can only control yourself for so long. I think that if you have to cut dinner, a movie or an evening short cause of an attack... Do it! It's not going to make things better being in a strange place while getting an attack.
