Aloooooo-ha!

hey cousin,
no insurance? bummer, half the benefit of having insurance is trying all the different stuff to try and battle the beast, which can have a pleasant distracting effect. However, I found (on this board) that someone said breathing cold air, like from the freezer works miracles. Last night, I woke up, with "it" wraped around my face like the alien on "alien". I must admit, I took a imitrex tab ... but also headed straight for the freezer, put my nose over the ice tray and began inhaling. I plugged the nostril on the side that didnt hurt and even though the pain side was plugged, I kept trying. I managed to get some air through and kept on going. Eventually my nostril cleared up and I could feel the cold air going through my nasal passages. In about 3-4 minutes, I could open my eye, by 5 minutes, the thing was gone (I do always have the "bearable" reminder sensation during bouts), but it seemed to work. Although I did take the Imitrex tablet, I dont think it can work that fast. I wonder if the effect from o2 treatmenst is because it has just been uncondenced and is nice and "cool". hmm. Anyway good luck cousin.

and mahalo (for listening to me babbling)

take care...
