Clusters are Unique among all headaches

If there is one thing ( in my humble opinion ) that distinquishes cluster headaches from all other headaches is that they have a life of their own and they are not a result of some psychological state. There is ample evidence that, unlike tension and migraine headaches, they do not respond to biofeedback.

I say this as an individual who is amply cynical when it comes to pain. I believe the experts when they tell me that backpain is usually emotional in nature and that migraines can be brought on by stress or the inablity to handle stress.

I am more than willing to concede that I am probably as nuerotic as the next person but this has nothing to do with my cluster headaches.

I also forgive those who think it is "only in my head" , and unlike some, I do not seek understanding, just the most benign medication I can find that actually works.
