Hi Sandy. I'm 52 and have had CH since I was 21. It is hard to believe you got this far without CH and now started. But it sounds like that's what you have. When I'm in my season, I get a CH if I have an ounce of beer. But I can drink a mixed drink with no problem. You may be just the opposite. You'll see from this board, that though there are many similarities among the sufferers, there are no hard and fast rules. I take Imitrex shots to abort CH. They works in 5 minutes. I got out of my season (cycle) with the water treatment. It took two days before the CH stopped. And I had shadow pain for two or three weeks. Hope it works for you.
