My name is Dave, I am 34 and have been living with cluster headaches for about 7 years. I wish I could tell you they get better. I have gone a year without a headache and I have also had them for a three month period, several times a day. I have one know. I have taken three vicodin and all it has done is made it bearable. I still feel it but at least I can manage.
I have stopped wasting my time on tests. They are cluster headaches. I have pursued many options, none have worked. Pain medication is all I can do to survive.
Hang in there. I write to you because your name is Bernadette. My best friend's name is Bernadette. Berni died almost 5 years ago. She was the only one who knew what I went through with my headaches. She rubbed my head, soothed me and comforted me when I needed her most. She was 26. I miss her. You have a beautiful name and I wish you good luck
