I have taken a pill similar to that in the past. I swore to my Dr that it was helping with the CH's but he said...No way, a pill would take close to an hour to start to work. He also told me the pill would cause re-bound headaches. I stopped taking them because he scared me, but now i have started to see another Dr and I think I will start to take the pills again. Mine was a combo of asprin/caffine/butabital and it did the same thing you said, a nice warm feeling comes over you and the pain goes away. My CH's come on schedule every day so I was taking the pill ahead of time....and it seemed to work. Most times i could avoid the CH. It also worked to treat a CH that was already in process.
Try going back to an ER or to a family Dr, tell them you have migraines (if you think they won't know about clusters) and hopefully you will get another script for them.
