The combo that you’re taking has the brand-name “Fiorinal.” There’s a version with Tylenol instead of aspirin called “Fioricet,” if aspirin bothers your stomach. Both versions have generic varieties that, if you have health insurance, are cheaper that plain aspirin or plain Tylenol. They’re both cheaper than the brand-name versions, in any case. I use the generic brand called “Isocet,” myself.
I’m one of the unlucky ones. Butalbital in either of its forms has never worked for me against The Demon. I’ve been using it for ordinary headaches, where it works like magic, since 1983. The only thing that I don’t like about it is its bitter taste. It’s enough to gag a maggot!
