The worst cluster's I get are at the upper back of head on right. They usually occur after smoking marijuana, although (curiously) they have occured after eating marijuana. Funny, I've read a lot about cigaretts but nothing about marijuana as a trigger. I've never smoked tobacco cigs to test because if the answer is pain then I don't won't to know. The pain in that area is like the entire universe condensing on an area about half-inch in diameter. Alchohol definately triggers but not as bad. Pain seems to be behind the ear more and more with sharp, pulslike stabbings in nose. Again, I haven't seen much in these pages about steroid (Hydeltera) injections into nasal turbinates as I had this done once and it stopped the pain dead for 2.5 to 3 months while steroid was active.
